News Expo Riva Schuh more fashionable than ever
At the beginning of January, over 13.000 visitors travelled to the North of Italy to attend the 87th edition of Expo Riva Schuh, an exhibition which is characterized by “businesses, international spirit, with its eyes always turned to the future and with an incursion in the digital world and electronic trade”.
On Roberto Pellegrini’s perspective, “this edition strengthened Expo Riva Schuh’s reference statute as an international business center”. To Riva del Garda Fierecongressi’s president, “Expo Riva Schuh is supported by a strong identity, which hasn’t change its course or positioning and it’s precisely this consistency that characterizes it”.

Once again, Garda’s fair revealed itself as an open window to the world. This time, the electronic trade was one of the highlights. Albert Antonini Mangia, Alibaba Italia’s Marketing Manager, pointed out some of the main actual and future trends of the international market. “Consumers are increasingly sophisticated. A lot of them, who go to the stores, eventually start buying online. To satisfy their needs, there is an increasing trend for a multichannel approach, namely through the management of multiple sales methods that integrate online and offline channels.”

1449 exhibitors from over 40 countries have marked their presence in Expo Riva Schuh and presented their collections for this year's winter. Portugal was represented by 66 companies and was one of the strongest foreign delegations.
