It is an ambitious project, that was created precisely two years ago. Following ten years of work for large brands, Norberto Costa Lda, a commercial company with headquarters in Felgueiras, launched the Vudu Shoes brand. After consolidating itself in the German market, it is participating in almost two dozen professional fairs. An authentic “fair overdose” that seeks to “put a spell” on customers a little all over the world.

“In the first two years of Vudu’s existence, it was possible to consolidate a relevant position in the German market. Today our investment consists of surgically investing in France, Italy and Scandinavia”, revealed Sara Pignatelli. Vudu Shoes self-announces itself to be “a modern and rebellious brand, targeting a young audience”. In that sense, the United Kingdom is “a passion”, as it is a “demanding” market “but with a special knack for products of young brands”.

Aesthetics of colour

The person responsible for Vudu states that “differentiation is a strong trademark of the brand, namely when it comes to colour. We take a lot of chances. We don’t seek to make two shoes the same”. Another strong “finger print” of the brand, that specialized itself in the tinged and pre-washed, goes through the female segment. “We have an interesting margin for growth that we want to explore”, explained Sara Pignatelli. For that, “unique, personalized finishes reinventing classic styles, in a bold vision of universal fashion tendencies” will be privileged.
