Curtumes Fonte Velha was founded in 1933 by Joaquim Francisco Inácio. With the aim of providing high-quality leather, our company has always used top-quality European raw materials, tanned using 100% vegetable tanning methods.
Vegetable tanning was probably the first method used by humans to preserve the hides of animals they hunted for food. This process, based on natural products, gives the leather unique properties.
