TROFAL SA is a Portuguese shoe manufacturer since 1978 with a family tradition in the shoe industry which dates back to the last century (1903) and was the first footwear company certificated in Portugal according with ISO 9001 standards since 1995, giving us a quality guarantee.
TROFAL is specialized in manufacturing high quality shoes and boots with “Goodyear Welted” system. The traditional manufacturing method, “Goodyear Welted” is known for its comfort, breathability, flexibility, and protection from heat and cold. It evolves more than 200 hundred operations and provides incomparable durability and easy repairing, which TROFAL guarantees.
Our production is handmade with great dedication and perfection by our highly skilled artisans exclusively in our factory in Portugal and we stand for fair working conditions and mutual respect for all, as family.
Our factory have a full production process (pattern making/cutting/stitching/assembly/quality control/shipping and logistics) where more and more sustainable measures are involved, and we are working to reduce the carbon footprint. The finest raw materials are used: natural, recyclable, and biodegradable with the aim of promoting the circular economy. We produce leather shoes and boots and since 1998 we have been producing vegan footwear with animal-free materials such as organic cotton, PET from the oceans, pineapple fibers.
