Vapesol
Vapesol is a leading Portuguese company specialized in the production of footwear soles. Founded in March 1998, technology, innovation and development have always been at the heart of its growth. Today, Vapesol produces over 20,000 pairs of soles per day, working with materials such as TPR, TPU, Rubber and EVA, while also developing customized solutions and soles with specific technical characteristics, including extra-light, micro, dual-density and tricolour solutions. From design to production, Vapesol combines technology, creativity and the expertise of its teams to develop solutions tailored to each project. A strong focus on sustainability has also led to the development of the VP Sustainable brand, with solutions using biodegradable, bio-based and recycled materials.
Vapesol is the first Portuguese sole producer to obtain GRS – Global Recycled Standard certification for TR, TPU and EVA soles, and the only company in the world with this certification for EVA soles. Certified products contain at least 5% pre-consumer recycled material and can reach up to 100% recycled content.
