Lemon Jelly has just opened its first flash store in Porto, as part of the expansion of the Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet, and it will remain open until June 2026. With an increasing focus on sustainability, the footwear and accessories brand aims to offer its customers a sensory journey into the brand’s universe, highlighting its evolution and Portuguese heritage.
More than just a retail space, the new store reflects Lemon Jelly’s DNA, combining Portuguese design with a strong commitment to sustainability and comfort. The new location allows visitors to rediscover some of Lemon Jelly’s most iconic models through the introduction of new pieces from previous collections.
Although the brand first won over consumers with its rubber boots, it has gradually expanded its offer. Today, its product range includes footwear for warmer months (sandals, mules and slides), as well as bags, socks and ponchos. Designed in Portugal and produced almost entirely in the country, the pieces have been carefully selected for their relevance and timeless appeal.
Since its creation in 2013, Lemon Jelly has actively promoted the transition to a circular and green economy. According to the brand, "sustainability results from the combination of small actions which, together, have the power to transform conventional consumption into ethical consumption,” reflecting its belief in a world where the fashion industry contributes to a more sustainable and evolving planet.
In 2019, Lemon Jelly became an officially vegan brand, certified by PETA, producing 100% vegan footwear. Its shoes are made from durable and recyclable plastic, setting a high-quality standard aligned with respect for animals and environmental protection.
Although temporary, the store was designed "to leave a lasting impression,” creating an environment that invites visitors on a sensory journey through the brand’s universe, "where the sound of rain, the touch of materials and the unmistakable scent of lemon create a complete brand experience.”
In addition to the newly opened space at the Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet, Lemon Jelly sells its collections through its online store and across various retailers and multibrand platforms, including About You and Zalando.
