A pair of sandals for peace: a symbolic act of appeal for peace, that will also help Ukrainian refugees. Luís Onofre has just released PEACE sandals, whose total sales value will contribute to the financing of new aid actions by AND – Nova Dimensão Association, within the scope of its human caravans.
The sandal was introduced to the public in the last edition of Portugal Fashion, where the designer presented Kafe, his FW22 collection. The sandal closed the show and was worn by Sasha Kholkina (Elite Lisbon), a model of Ukrainian origin, residing in Portugal.

The dove is the universal symbol of peace, and it was the motif chosen by Luís Onofre to shape PEACE, a limited-edition sandal in white and gold leather. It were produced 10 pairs, worth 500 euros each, which will revert entirely to the financing of AND’s humanitarian aid actions, whose missions connect Portugal to Ukrainian borders, with the goal of delivering essential and rescue goods to Ukrainian families.
In the words of Luís Onofre, "the allegory of the white dove as a messenger of peace is the sign of hope that we all need. It is vital to minimize the suffering of all who were hit by this war”.
