During the last edition of the Milan-based trade fair, Ambitious has launched a new line, this time for ladies: "This comes as a request from many customers and agents”, says Pedro Lopes. The company's manager guarantees that the brand's focus continues to be on the male models. "We want to be the best in men's shoes, that's why this experience is just a Capsule line. We want to understand how the market reacts, so we looked at some men's models and adapted them to the female segment. Starting to produce a ladies' line implies a restructuring of design and production”.
During Micam, Ambitious also presented a 100% sustainable line: "In recent years, we have already tried, in the general collection, to use sustainable materials whenever they exist as an alternative. This year we launched a line in which all materials are 100% sustainable. This is a first approach to such a specific segment”, says Pedro Lopes. "The evolution of the brand goes through this type of products”.
The brand currently sells to 45 countries, with Italy being the main market. Belgium, Holland and Switzerland were relevant markets during the pandemic and the brand is focused on strengthening its presence in these countries.
