On 24 February, Dikamar carried out a reforestation project in the Mata Nacional do Urso, in the municipality of Pombal, in collaboration with Pombal City Council. This area, which is part of the Leiria Forest, was severely affected by the 2017 fires that destroyed a large part of the Leiria Forest.

This reforestation action follows on from the "Leave your Trace in the Environment" campaign, which began in November 2023, in which Dîkamar made a commitment to reduce the printing of our catalogues by 90%, replacing them with digital format, and to plant the equivalent in trees.

"This action was only possible thanks to the support of our employees and their children, who put their hands and feet in action and contributed to the reforestation and biodiversity of this historic forest, which is part of Portugal's patrimony. It was an opportunity to explore the environment and share values, attitudes, behaviours and practices for valuing nature".
