Pope Francis received a pair of Portuguese shoes. The pair of sandals made in Portugal was hand-delivered to His Holiness by RICAP.
As part of its 40th-anniversary celebrations, RICAP Shoes, represented by its administrator and founder, Guilherme da Silva Almeida, was received at the Vatican and presented His Holiness Pope Francis a pair of sandals made by the Felgueiras company.
Manufactured entirely by RICAP Shoes, the sandals, which are extremely comfortable and of the quality for which the brand is renowned, have been personalised with the symbols of His Holiness.
Pope Francis was delighted with the gift and will now be able to enjoy the comfort of shoes made in Portugal.
