Portuguese brand celebrates 90 years
After the launch of BSK33, the brand announces new models that complement the next collection, inspired by the aesthetics of the 70s and 80s, introducing youthful subcultures, allied with streetwear trends. Sanjo’s new collection reflects the harmony between past and present, combining a retro aesthetic with more modern cuts.
"I feel Sanjo’s anniversary collection celebrates the creativity, the collaboration, and the community”, says Vítor Costa. This was the premise for the brand’s creative director, who, inspired by youth subcultures, streetwear, and nostalgia, created a collection that doesn’t aim to follow trends, or make only sneakers, but rather supports and reflects Portuguese culture. "Growing a brand is a bumpy journey, and we want to keep evolving and adapting, challenging ourselves daily to do more and better. Staying original, connected to our communities and nurturing our culture is what we want”, he adds.
