To Savana, protecting the environment is as important as creating a great pair of shoes. With being increasingly sustainable as a goal, the footwear company from Felgueiras has just launched a new brand: Contagious.
This first collection of Contagious is called "Commitment” and is all made with recycled materials. It is the first capsule collection that is 100% Portuguese and represents Savana’s vision for the future, both of the planet and the fashion industry.
"For that reason, we created this new collection, for which we only chose materials with a low impact on the environment. Our footwear has latex rubber soles with cork, recycled strobel insoles, recycled foam and jute and organic cotton shoelaces. The outside of the shoes are made with cork, recycled knitwear and the whole lining consists of 100% organic cotton”, states the brand.
