Was working in the footwear industry a natural choice?
Yes. From an early age I closely followed my father’s journey and, more recently, my brother’s path in this industry. For me, it was always a natural goal to continue the work that has been done so far.
How would you define your company and what sets it apart in the market?
I believe what distinguishes us in such a competitive environment is our enthusiasm for the new challenges that clients present to us almost every day. In addition, I see us as an ambitious company that is constantly innovating, always with the goal of guaranteeing and ensuring the quality of our products, which is increasingly demanded by our clients.
What have been the biggest challenges so far?
The main challenges we face are the constant changes and demands of the market. However, we have managed to overcome them by finding differentiated solutions that add value.
What advice would you give to a young person starting out in the industry?
Have the ambition to do more and better every day, and the dedication to continue making Portuguese footwear a reference worldwide. It is also very important to listen to and absorb the advice of people with more experience in the sector, as they have a great deal to teach us.
